Kitchen Cabinet Designer/Home Improvement Salesperson
Weisman Discount Home Centers is a New York headquartered retail chain. We currently operate eight (8) stores in the metropolitan area. We have been in business for over 60 years.
The Company is focused on the kitchen cabinet, flooring and bath categories. Our store model is to offer great prices and customer service to our customers through convenient neighborhood locations. We operate in a discount, no frills, low overhead, cash-and-carry environment. We sell quality products at a great value. We believe that our store model is unique and is in demand.
We are seeking experienced kitchen designer /salespeople for our retail showrooms. Our stores are located in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Long Island. We have salespeople who earn a 6 figure income in our stores.
The job requirements are as follows:
- You will be responsible for kitchen layouts and design
- You will be working with measurements/kitchen drawings supplied from customers and contractors
- You will need to be comfortable working with kitchen design software
- You must be customer service oriented
- You must be hands-on and be at ease with details
- You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, store employees and corporate office personnel
