Cabinet Sales
Weisman Discount Home Centers (weismandiscounthomecenters.com) is a New York headquartered retail chain. We currently operate eight (8) stores in the metropolitan area. We have been in business for over 75 years. We are now expanding our store base in the New York metropolitan area and we are opening new stores.
The Company is focused on the kitchen cabinet, flooring and bath categories. Our store model is to offer great prices and customer service to our customers through convenient neighborhood locations.
We operate in a discount, no frills, low overhead, cash-and-carry environment. We sell quality products at a great value. We believe that our store model is unique and is in demand.
We are seeking experienced Salespeople for our home improvement showrooms. Our stores are located in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. This is not a retail minimum wage job. Many of our salespeople earn over $100,000 per year.
The job requirements are as follows:
- You must be customer service oriented. Prior B2C sales skills and experiences strongly preferred.
- You will be responsible for kitchen layouts and design
- You will be working with measurements/kitchen drawings supplied from customers and contractors
- You will need to be comfortable working with kitchen design software
- You must be hands-on and be at ease with details
- You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, store employees and corporate office personnel
